If I have to buy canned chili, I buy this one in a box. It's by far, the best of the premade chilis.  It's in the refrigerated meat section.

Plus, it contains oats and some kind of tofu-ish shit.  No thanks.

I made tacos using this tonight. So easy and tasty. Fresh tortillas, pico, Mi Tienda refried beans. Took all of 10 minutes to do.

If only we were all so fortunate to have a tortillaria like that down the street. $12 for a 1 lb. package. But H‑E‑B often has a x  off when you buy x amount of Mi Tienda products.

Yep, we use it every time it's up. Always $4 off $20 of Mi Tienda. This is usually right around $20.

These have fantastic macros, and I think they taste plenty good. Though they're light on the cheese (as you'd imagine) and the jalapenos.

Prasek's Dry Pork & Beef Sticks - Shop Jerky at H-E-B

Prasek's Dry Bison & Pork Sticks with Jalapeno & Cheese - Shop Jerky at H-E-B

I've been getting this at HEB for a while, particularly when they have a coupon.  It's consistently better than most other brands.

Honestly, I so much prefer kettle cooked chips to the wavy/ridged varieties that I wouldn't even consider those.  Team texture I guess.

Pretty much the same for me, except plain Ruffles with sour cream and onion dip is a classic for me.

I got those last year, and they didn't taste much different than the other novelty HEB chip flavors, which to me all taste within a similar salty flavor variation.

I'd delete this. They may try and silence you.

You’re a whore. Shut your filthy whore mouth. The lemon pepper is delicious.

The only thing I can dispute in the above post is that the lemon pepper chips are delicious because they are most certainly not. There is sugar in the seasoning and it has a lemon poundcake aftertaste. Lemon pepper isn’t supposed to be sweet.

I think there's a difference between their very first run of it (heavy pepper, light lemon) then the second run when they first came out that had some more sweet to it to these.

Loved the first run. Havent enjoyed any since

Those Mi Tienda sauces that are the the skinny bottles are all good.

Agree to disagree. Habanero is fucking great, but the rest are mediocre. To be fair, I haven't tried the Avacado one yet. But the Roja is nothing special and I found the Verde downright bad.

In a similar vein, I tried the jarred salsa verde by Herdez a couple of weeks ago.  I don't know if they made a bad batch or what, but it had a funk to it that rendered it almost inedible.

I've also had that happen before. I also had a botle of the Verde literally explode becuase it somehow had fermented inside, and a herdez that literally turned modly after two days. While I'll use Herdez stuff in soups as a shortcut, I don't think they have the best facilities.

I have had both of those happen before as well with Herdez.

This is dogshit. Picked it up with some deal they had a while back. Dry AF and the chili tasted like nothing.

H-E-B Frozen Beef Chili & Cornbread – Family-Size

This is pretty good but the last container I bought, they did a piss poor job blending in the avocado as it has giant chunks I had to smash up. Still will keep buying

HEB My Store Green Salsa with Avocado - Mild

These are meh. Smells like a taco bell fart when you open the bag and only a hint of breakfast sausage flavoring. Won't buy again.

H-E-B Thin Potato Chips Biscuits & Gravy

In my defense, I had a feeling they weren't going to be good but my kids like trying the limited edition chips they come out with. Even the weird sweet ones like milkshake and lemonade (I think it was lemonade, something with lemon in it). The only ones I can remember being good were the pepperoni pizza roll and the cheeseburger.

My neighbor abuela gave me  pouch of the MI Tienda frijoles with jalapeno.

Terrible. It had a chemically flavor. Blah

I haven't felt inclined to try any others.

I don’t believe any legitimate abuela would give anyone a pouch of HEB frijoles. Did she also give you these to eat with them?
