It's baseball, a good team batting average is around .270 which means not even 3 guys are getting a hit every 10 times to the plate. Relax, its one game jesus christ.

And we hit under that mark tonight.

Chill out hero.  We hit like shit and won.

armypilot is austinorange light. He can't ever say anything positive, even when we win.

You don’t know me.  And you’re renown as a douchebag.  So there is that.

Ive said plenty positive.  We need to hit better.

Just wait until we lose a game. Posters like him will be insufferable.

Mason Bryant with the win. No save.

I see that the ULaLa stats page says that but I don't understand how they reached that conclusion.  Ivey was still the pitcher of record when we broke the tie.

Bats are the bigger issue.  Arms looked good minus Fields

We'll see. I really liked what I saw from Kennedy, Reynolds, and Ellis. McCann had a big hit. Reagan might be good.

The bats may be alright. But we desperately need Zubia to provide the home runs so I hope tonight was just him shaking off some rust.

With the win we are #5 in the RPI. Solid position to host a Super.

Jokingly posted, but I see we are tied with half of the NCAA teams after this win. I thought road win was weighted more than a home win?  Is that still the case?

Todd can hit if he stays healthy. His numbers FR year weren't bad. Then he dealt with injuries his Sophomore year.

There's a reason Pierce has him in the 3 hole.

I'm not saying Todd puts up Kody Clemens type numbers but it's a similar situation. Coming off an injury, not a ton of production in their first two years, but lots of talent.

Some of y'all ... jfc. It's one game, and a road win at that.

In a pretty good road environment against a good pitcher.  Could always start the year off like aggy does and play 19 of your first 23 at home against weak competition.

19 of 23?  That's nuts.  Padding the win total... it's the SEC way.

Yup. It’s been that way the last few seasons for them. They play almost all of their out of conference games at home against weak competition. It’s why they bow out the first weekend of the postseason every year.

I'll have you know they played the Bronx Bombers of the Atlantic 10 tonight

I know, right. Pretty unbelievable that they scheduled 4 non home games. Though a couple of those are at the Minute Maid tourney so how many actual road games?
