I swear to Christ by following Roach I feel like I know more about the two decent white rising seniors on Highland Park than most of their close family. By amount of content/retweets you'd think Patrick Turner and Brayden Schrager were the two best players in Texas.

I think in the same way Holland fixated on loudmouth sneakerheads, Roach locks in on milquetoast kids from the suburbs.

I just got done listening to the saddest Roach i've ever heard. His guest is Matt Stepp and Roach turns into single white female, he repeats how Stepp and he are pretty much the same person. Stepp is polite at Roach's advances to become besties and gently crushes his fantasy.

Stepp only covers high school, right? Like not recruiting as a whole.

That would be Roach's dream, he pretty much only cares about TXHSFB, the Bills, the Mavs, and the Stars. He doesn't seem to really like college football all that much.

Yep but don't forget, they're all incredible evaluators. They'll tell you over and over who they discovered....

So what you're trying to say is that Mike Roach is a racist white supremacist?

I would guess, based on the available information, that he struggles to connect with black kids and families, and falls back on people that are easier to talk to for him, even if they're pretty irrelevant for Texas fans.

As if anyone needed more evidence that Farrell is a complete and total dumbass and Rivals is a joke, here is Farrell's take on Shea Patterson not being drafted:

"Farrell’s take: This one is crazy to me. This kid had it all — a live arm, accuracy, pocket presence — everything but great size. And at Michigan he was up and down but to not be drafted at all? That’s crazy."

Other than Patterson having some of the worst pocket presence I've ever seen, not being accurate at all, and having no ability to read defenses or find open receivers, I'd say Farrell's spot on.

Congrats, that one was what motivated me to post it.  The NFL.com draft analysis says he's a priority free agent: https://www.nfl.com/prospects/shea-patterson?id=32195041-5450-3195-e593-e4da92878312

This one called UDFA, too: https://draftwire.usatoday.com/2020/03/21/2020-nfl-draft-shea-patterson-scouting-report/

And moar:

Quote

Shea Patterson Draft Projection 2020

Bleacher Report
Matt Miller, of Bleacher Report, has Patterson going Undrafted this April.

Walter Football
Walter Cherepinsky, of Walter Football, expects the Jacksonville Jaguars to pull the trigger on Patterson late in the seventh round with their final pick at No. 223 overall.

CBS Sports
Despite projecting 13 QBs to be taken in this year's draft, Ryan Wilson, of CBS Sports, predicts that Patterson will go Undrafted.

USA Today
Just like Miller and Wilson, Luke Easterling, of USA Today's Draftwire, has Patterson going Undrafted this year as well.

Shea Patterson NFL Draft Prediction

Round 7
- Jaguars (No. 223)

Undrafted (x3)

With only one of the four experts highlighted above predicting Patterson to be drafted at any point, the consensus opinion here suggests the former Michigan standout QB will be an undrafted free agent come two weeks from now.

I wonder what games Farrell watched, because he sure as hell didn't watch the Army game where Harbaugh had so little confidence in Patterson that he called about 30 run plays in a row to end the game even though Army kept stuffing them.  Or 14-32 against Wiscy, 18-43 against tOSU, or 17-37 against Bama.  Someone compared Mond to him in one of the aggy threads, and that's spot on as far as throwing.

Deion told them to

Why didn't he tell 247 to rank him higher than #58, and since you clearly have the ability to time-travel, which of these rankings will prove to be more accurate?

Okay I’ve them down for championships in cornhole, pocket pool and lawn darts, assuming no tragedies. That pretty much covers it. Meat judging should be a given

There’s nothing wrong at all in boasting a bit about success....except when there has been no success at all. Then it’s just weird and creepy.

If Yurcich actually does what he says in this audio clip then TEXAS might really kick some butt this year.  Also great that Ehlinger only has one class this fall, so Sam's got plenty of time to spend in the film room...

Thx for finding tweet below  @satyanash
