Clearly the top 5

1.) Reece’s pb cups

2.) Twix

3.) Starburst

4.) Milky Way

5.) Kit Kat

If it ain't dark chocolate in America it's crap.  Our milk chocolate sucks shit.

Mass produced candy:

Gimme a HERSHEYS special dark bar

Mounds dark chocolate

Reeces PB cups

Starbursts

DOTS

The good chocolate is always gonna be dark chocolate for me Lindors, is pretty tasty stuff

Spree rules all

Hershey's Special Dark

Jelly Belly

Jolly Rancher

Werther's

I'm deathly allergic to nuts, so most chocolate products are out, because of cross-contamination.  I do love dark chocolate, though -- interesting factoid, the Hershey's Special Dark 6 ct  (1.45 oz per bar) is completely nut free, as they're produced in a factory that never ships in nuts of any kind.  They don't even have an allergen warning on the package.  I like those.

That's odd.  Spree is a good choice.  Haven't seen them in forever though.  Forced to make do with Sweetarts.

The dark chocolate Reeces PB cups and Kit Kat are far superior to the milk chocolate versions.

What is this sorcery you speak of? Dark choco Reese's?

Dark chocolate M&M's are my favorite main-stream candy. I usually end my night with a few bites of dark chocolate -- been buying the three-pack bundles from Trader Joe's (the brown wrapper is the best so far).

I see dark choc kit kats frequently.  where are you seeing dark choc reese’s?

Usually one row up or down...

if you see a dark chocolate variety of one brand that sometimes means there are more.  It usually goes HERSHEYS Special dark, Reeces dark PB and then the less frequent Dark choc kit Kats.  Beyond that and you're not in just any  quick pick any more, and the prices will all be $.50 higher on average, and they'll be selling bottles of OK wine probably.

Some oldies, but goodies:

Zagnut bar

Chick-o-Stick

I'm a sucker for toasted coconut and peanut butter.

For those uninformed - they now make coffee nut M&M's and they are delicious.

No longer in production - Alpine White by Nestle

Never had a Zagnut. Am I missing out?

Never even heard of a Chick-o-stik. Is that a chicken-flavored candy? Cause that sounds disgusting.

1. Reeses PB cups far and away #1, nothing else is even in the same universe

2. Almond M&M's

3. Heath

4. Almond Snickers

5. Tie - York/Junior Mints; Almond Joy; Lemon Sours (the soft ones); Kit Kat*

*did you know that one of the layers on the inside of a Kit Kat bar is .... crushed up Kit Kats?
