Why not crack a backwoods and make a yeast starter at the same time. This is the probably the best yeast starter I’ve ever made, maybe even in the world.

Taking a break from IPA's so I picked up some Bell's Octoberfest Marzen and Tupps Full Grown Jack Imperial Stout. I really like the Bells, 1st Octoberfest of the season for me and looking forward to trying more. Don't normally drink much stout , and the Tupps with the pumpkin spice and 12.1% is …. a bit on the heavy side. But in a good way.

I intended to get more Ayinger but my HEB was wiped out.  The Sierra Nevada / Weihenstephaner collaboration is really good though. A sixer of that and a couple of Oaktoberfests, followed by some Jagerschnitzel, and I'm doing all right.  ou ist Scheiße!

this liquid truth serum is awesome, it tastes damn near exactly like the waldos. never heard of this super cluster stuff before but i found the last case at heb and im pretty pumped about trying it after checking it out on beer advocate.

new-ish heb in north pflugerville on gattis school road. they have an awesome beer selection, especially for this part of town.

interesting. the ABV is too high for grocery sales i thought.

Anyone had Lake Austin Ales Juicy (IPA and DIPA versions)?  It's been launching all over town.  I had a really bad IPA at Celis a few weeks ago named Juicy.  I hope this wasn't the same beer.

no idea if it was the same beer, but the Lake Austin stuff is definitely brewed at Celis.
