Great find Machinator......

Andre Coleman’s contract as OC at K-State still has a guaranteed remaining total of approx $1 mill to be paid out over next two years (contract expires 4/30/21).  K-State owed Coleman the remainder of his base salary because he was not retained after Snyder retired.

Any amount due to Coleman will be offset if he obtains new employment. (So Texas will probably end up paying Coleman only $30-40k a year.)

I hate everything Plonsky loves. Except vaginas of course

When Plonsky finally leaves UT, she will be un-replaceble--for a reason. What a moribund albatross kunt she has been.

Not a fan of her.  Not a fan of Lopiano either.  She engineered the Title IX suit against Texas on her way out.  Disloyal bitch.

If Herman likes Fedora or Coleman you think he's going to let them walk?

Herman, for whatever reason, is big on giving the perception of staff continuity.

Bottom line is with this new 1-year contract approach to assistants and good support staff it's an interview process for everyone. Do your job or there are probably better options at different levels.

Hiring from within would be a hell of a selling point to future analysts that we want to bring on. We could get a free trial of every coach and see how they fit with the staff, how good of a coach they are, etc.

Un-replacable?

Hell, you can find her replacement at Home Depot, or any used cat box or on top of any Doug Rader decorated cake.

Special Teams help too.....

As a rookie, Coleman played in Super Bowl XXIX with the Chargers and set several Super Bowl records in the game: most kickoff returns (8), most return yards (244), and most total yards (244). Coleman had a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the game, tied for the second longest kickoff return in Super Bowl history."

if you're returning 8 kickoffs in a game, you're probably not having a good day, regardless of what stats you put up.

"Coleman could help the Longhorns add elements of the unique quarterback run game and run-pass options used by the Wildcats in recent seasons. And, from Tyler Lockett to Deante Burton to Byron Pringle to Isaiah Zuber, Coleman also has a strong track record of coaching up wide receivers who weren’t highly recruited."

"Another area where Coleman could help the Longhorns? In the kick return game — he was an explosive player in that phase, even returning a kickoff for a touchdown in a Super Bowl. As a coach, Coleman helped tutor Morgan Burns in 2015 when Burns earned Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year honors after four kickoff returns for touchdowns. In 2013, Coleman’s tutelage helped Tyler Lockett return two punts for touchdowns and lead the nation with a 19.1-yard average."

Forgot about WR and kick return coaching help of new Horns analyst Andre Coleman from K-State.  Nice write-up below...
