Media/Hollywood's anti-Christian campaign

Sam Harrison, Richard Dawkins, and Christopher Hitchens are good apostles of atheism don't you think? Spouting the good word to all nonbelievers of atheism.

Christians have such weak faith.

“We’re all born atheists “ carries the hallmarks of a religious statement: it’s unprovable and unfalsifiable, makes those preinclined to agree feel good about themselves, and ignores all evidence to the contrary, which in this case is significant. Setting aside the truth or value of any particular religious or non religious position, which are unrelated issues, human history pretty clearly teaches that religious belief is pretty much inherent to the human condition. Unless your definition of atheism is so inclusive as to lose all meaning, it’s an absurd statement mindlessly recited by atheist evangelists.

That doesn’t mean that atheists are just angry at God or that it’s a religion, but that particular statement might as well be called religious.

In 4th/5th grade, y'all ever look back at the Greeks and study their "mythology"???

That's all you are to your great-great-great-grandchildren.  A fun story for recess.

Oh, then why are they're still Christians if their faith is weak

peer pressure.  same reason some of them love dry counties and the liquor stores across the county line.

I’ll just say this and ban myself from this thread for a while.

Beware of divisive propaganda dressed up as ‘entertainment’.

If you want to blame someone for conflict in the world, look at the specific individuals who profit from that conflict.   This information is readily available on the internet.  For now.

Hint #1: It’s not your neighbor or the family down the street.

Hint #2: Look at the individuals who've been financing wars for the last 200 years.  (Sometimes, both sides.)

Hint #3: Don’t focus on their religion.  These war profiteers fund people with a variety of religious backgrounds, all over the world.

The Elite invest a lot of money in getting you to hate and fear each other.  (Right/Left, Black/White, Muslim/Christian)   This keeps you battling each other, instead of them.  And when you go to war with each other, they rake in ungodly profits.  If you refuse to fight, they forfeit their investments in hate and fear.

That's how you beat the Elite.  Resist their propaganda.  Stop fighting each other.  Pursue happiness.

This guy is about 6 months from shooting up a synagogue.

Nobody believes in god at all, not really. God is unbelievable.

If people honestly believed in God they'd dream about Jesus. Instead people dream of sex, high school and flying. That's hell, purgatory and heaven, at root.

The Bible is the worst written book in literary history, right behind Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead. Faulkner's As I Lay Dying, which is an atrocious book, is on that shit list. It's a drunken miserable swoon of Southern despair. And it aptly explains why the South is so deeply religious. Because they actually aren't. However people must pretend to be, per cultural demand, or they suffer the reproachful condemnation by which religion encodes itself in the social order. "The Church" in fact imposes order by over punishing non conformity thus creating instructive examples out of sheer necessity. This is an objective evil built entirely of agenda. That agenda is control.

Passion cannot survive control, as anything than the exhortation and application of violence. And neither can art. And The Passion of the Christ illustrated this perfectly. It was a grotesque snuff film pre-approved by  Christian audiences before viewing. It was hyperbolically applauded as glorious, beautiful and awe-inspiring, when in fact it was a nightmare composed of vivid vignettes of flesh-rending sadism and barbarism, to the point of literal overkill. And it ends with war. Like the Bible itself.

The point of the Bible is to reincarnate war, until Armageddon can be sufficiently escalated. It's a doomsday machine. A self fulfilling prophecy. Gamed by evil genuises. The miracle implicit in it is that it will probably work. We're right on pace.

It's impossible to defeat because it is a gameboard with no exit. Except for death. (See life itself!).

It is a death cult. It baits you with false promises and reward unfulfillment. It's a pyramid scheme without payoff -- like every pyramid scheme ever. It's a tomb. A temple of doom. Full of shiny objects. (Hello Church!)

It's actually a cautionary tale. The real point of the Bible is this -- it's sarcasm. You're supposed to not follow it, because IT'S GOD AWFUL. All you have to do to break the spell is admit that. And poof it's gone. A house of cards demolished by telling the truth.

The truth, if you want to know what it actually is, it's that. The truth shall set you free. Just ask JC.

Is goodness everywhere? No. It's rarely anywhere. Is evil everywhere? Yes. Everywhere you go. And you expect it. And you know you do. So if, as the saying goes, God is everywhere, then God is evil.

The devil wins. But do not worry about that. The devil is lived spelled backwards. So may your life be lived well, everything else we are told, is hell.

Does evil really exist?

Feudalism never ended. The English language ensures that. It's illogically over complex yet assiduously coherent to a logical integrity. So it's actually nonsensical, and over reliant on idiom, satire and subtext instead of blunt simple truths. It overrides the natural perspective with indelible programming, leading to a brain forever immersed in avarice and class warfare. It elicits a leniency towards Anglo Saxon.

The Wizardof Oz is this in allegory, the thesis, all of our pursuits are merely a lure of reverence and financial skim back to England.

"England First" is the unspoken American motto, because we are trained from birth to capitulate to the feudal hierarchy which crossed the Atlantic along with us, like a stowaway. In our nursery rhymes and fairy tales the hierarchy is sewn. It is the concept of Incarnate Word. We are caught in a grammatic agreement to originals. The King's English is a fishing net for proper British subjects.

Alice in Wonderland is how to catch the girls. The Catcher in the Rye is how to catch the boys. Moby Dick is the atavistic creed.

America is a giant fucking filthy dirty joke, writ large. And the punchline is "The Aristocrats".
