Bit of a spinoff from Birds of Prey. In just about any movie that you needed a helicopter pilot,  you called James Gavin

He was in some big movies like Airport '75, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, Blue Thunder, The Dead Pool and The Gauntlet. If it had tight aerial action, he was the man.

I used to wonder if he was Ken Berry's more talented brother.

Give me All in The Family. A sitcom has never, and will ever, take as many risks.

Any thoughts on Barney Miller? I caught a few minutes of it recently, and liked what I saw.

Major league quality writing, good character actors, and funny as shit.

List of 70s Made for TV Movies:

https://www.superseventies.com/made-for-tv_movies.html

Unless I’m blind, didn’t see Death Be Not Proud listed, one of my favorites and still sticks with me today.  Death to Richie, Gargoyles, Born Innocent, Dont be afraid of the Dark are just a few I remember as well.

Wow, I forgot about that.  Scared the shit out of me.  Quick Google search shows that Scott Glenn was in it.

Cool thread as this stuff was just before my time.  As I cycle through the videos, I'm having all kinds of flashbacks.  For example, I'm pretty sure my first crush was of Joy on the Buggaloos.

I was never sure if this guy (Squire Fridell) and David Letterman were the same person. I don't remember the Rosetti & Ryan show in RPM's post, but he was in Toyota commercials about the time that Letterman came on the scene and started his late night show.
