When Ellis doesn't get on base, this offense really struggles......

Not a good day for Ellis.... swung at a lot of pitches out of the zone today

During the game today, I saw some players come in from the field and write something on a white chalkboard....what's with this?

They grade themselves on every AB (I have seen this and seen it commented upon).  Apparently they do it on defense, too.  Zubia gave himself an A yesterday after a pretty good AB ending with a sac fly.  I noticed an undeserved number of As all over the board, as to that point there hadn't been a whole lot of A at-bats.

We've been doing this a while, but I don't recall if it started with Pierce.

Thanks.  Interesting.  Hope it helps.

My girl saw them doing this and was also curious.  I saw this and read it to her.  She said she's going to get a whiteboard for my bedroom so we can grade our performances.  Except an F would be a good grade.  D's and C's would be OK and a grade of an O would be the best

That 2-2 was a strike, batter/P/C all knew it and the ump froze. Fucking Blue!

McCann had to reach across the zone to catch it. If he sets up there, I bet Cobb gets the call.

Another leadoff single for Tech. Just stays fair past first, Tate dives for it, makes the backhand flip to Cobb but Coy can't handle it.

Next batter doubles, baserunner waved home and tagged out. Great relay.
