These are growing on me.

The texture/crunch was off at first, but I'm digging them.

Basically a ranch-ish flavored Frito.

Have you tried these from Sprouts? Perfect for frito pie among other delicacies.

This goes moderately hard as a dip. Some kick to it.

So many of their dips are so good...one or all of these is always in our fridge:

Grabbed these three today thanks to this thread.

Employee said fried olives are seasonal, won't be back until November.

Linguine w/clams appears to have been discontinued, not happy about that one.

SIAP. I heard a podcast about this the other day. It's pretty well documented, in my opinion, that Trader Joes is ripping off smalltime food creators who come to them with insanely good ideas. That's really fucking shitty ---- and there's nothing they can do about it, legally.

It’s one thing to buy samples of a product you want to knock off and do the work to create a version of it. It’s quite another, if the article is accurate, to feign interest in a product to get access to ideas and trade secrets and then bring your own version of product to market, knowing the inventor probably doesn’t have the resources to bring legal action.

1) Well, that’s shitty.

2) Is there literally no business these days that doesn’t choose “be evil?” For fuck’s sake. Just don’t be fucking asshole dickheads. Which is apparently too much to ask.

That does hugely suck. My eyes popped when I saw Chitra Agrawal's name mentioned. Super nice woman with whom I corresponded in the past. We've been customers of Brooklyn Delhi for a couple years now and I highly recommend their sauces and achaars. And the spicy chutney. I found Brooklyn Delhi through another small Indian food company, Diaspora Co., which sells the best spices you'll likely ever come across.

Just mentioning because Diaspora makes great gifts for any person who loves to cook. Brooklyn Delhi sells great sauces (coconut curry, korma, masala) when you want to give the cook in the family a night off but don't want to go out/order delivery.

Amazon hired an exec. from TJ's a few years ago. Didn't tell her exactly why she was hired but when she began the job, it was made clear: they expected her to help them create an Amazon private label similar to TJs by replicating the top 200 products TJ's sold, and demanded that she provide them with all documentation about TJs sales and products she could get her hands on, etc. Things didn't go well. WSJ article free through msn.
