after the Biden speech, I flipped over to Fox.  Geraldo is on the "it's fucking over, Trump lost" side, and Charlie Kirk is on the "Biden cheated" side.

Geraldo argued pretty bigly that this shit has all been litigated, etc.   The other fox people weren't buying it.

Trump has fucked around and made me a (temporary) fan of Bill Barr, Michael Cohen and Geraldo Rivera Who's next? Is Stephen Miller about to tweet a #diaperdon meme?

i flipped over to fox a few times last night, as i sometimes do if there's nothing else on and cnn is on a commercial, and hannity had ron johnson and lindsey graham on back to back, explaining why the georgia runoffs are so important.  here is what i learned:

if the democrats take control of the senate, they'll be able to push through radical socialist ideas like the green new deal and medicare for all, they'll all go straight to biden's desk to sign, but most importantly, if the democrats take the senate, they'll shut down the investigation into hunter biden and the biden family crime syndicate.

i tried to quote that as warmly and accurately as possible, you know, just to relay their priorities.  these were the senators' words, not just hannity's.

I mean, that's fairly accurate aside from the "Biden family crime syndicate" part.  I don't feel like a majority of the country has a problem with those goals.

just struck me funny that sure, the democratic senate will fast track trillions in new legislature affecting hundreds of millions of people, but what's really pressing is whatever we can find on hunter's laptop and whether he dodged taxes in 2014.  priorities, man.

they did also mention that a democratic senate would likely grant statehood to dc and pr, which does nothing really except make it harder for them to maintain power.  gotta keep power in order to keep power.

while i understand the impact and the results and why the gop will obviously fight it as if life and death - what are the arguments against statehood?  the real arguments.

I love flipping over to Fox to see what the propaganda arm of the Republican Party is pushing out

They are full bore on the Hunter Biden narrative. It’s hilarious and sad. (Full disclosure: if he did anything wrong he should be charged. Anyone who breaks the law should face the consequences)

But they push this narrative while at the same time ignoring the ongoing tax fraud cases against Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump.

the Chefs kiss is their big conclusion is Joe Biden might have lied about saying he knew nothing of his sons dealings. They have no proof he did. EVEN if they had proof he knew, they have no proof he did anything wrong.

but he LIED

hahhhahaahhhah. Every statement made by Trump is a lie.

this attempt at going back to pre-Trump political outage is hilarious

It’s like the republicans never had anyone read to them the story of the boy who cried wolf.

90 percent of the normal part of the country, ie non republicans, at this point simply ignores their bullshit because they have cried so much in the past on bullshit that they have no credibility.

Then they wonder why does nobody care about hunter Biden’s laptop? Because your clan has zero credibility dipshit so don’t expect anyone to believe one damn thing you say.

I've been saying this for awhile and it goes all the way back to accusations Hillary killed Vince Foster- if the GOP base were the town folk in The Boy Who Cried Wolf, the story would have no end. It would just cycle on repeat.

I am in favor of this channel being completely shut down. If hate is your main driver, and Good Lord is it ever with this channel, you should not be given the medium of tv or the internet to disseminate it. They should be fined billions upon billions for running a propaganda network that led millions of people astray and into the belief system that eventually absorbed many into joining a cult. Every dollar they are fined should go towards funding educational programs in communities on the lower end of the socio-economic scale.

Fox Business: For those who think regular Fox News is for pinko lefty demonrats RINO’s, but who don’t get OANN or Newsmax on their cable channel lineup. Business? Oh, ummm... The business of owning the libs!

As bad as she is, Dobbs is by far the worst. She might discuss the stock market on occasion. He just straight up spews anti-democrat hate speech without even acknowledging he’s on a ‘business’ network.

Yet, the GOP is never willing to provide this "evidence" in court, or have Trump blast it out on his twitter.  It's always "a source" and "other people are saying" and "you know, this is something I've heard" etc.

But somehow, they can never get this stuff put down on the record for everybody to see and judge on their own.

Picturing (from Trump on down) this group back in their school years.

Morning of the exam: "Some people are saying we aren't having the test today...."

Narrator: the test was held.

Day the research paper is due: "What do you mean we have to cite our sources? What, like write it down with page numbers and everything?"

Narrator: The Chicago Manual of Style is not what R. Kelly uses before he visits the club. It or the MLA Guide has everything you need.

Sitting in class and called upon to supply an answer to 'Who were the allied powers in World War II?': "You know, this is something I've heard...."

Narrator: They had no clue.

LOL, that shit is going to be a key part of the Fox News Cinematic Universe going forward.  Some dipshit wrote a column about it at the WSJ, it got the right people worked up, and now they are going to revisit it constantly as part of Owning the Libs.

National Review also did a column on this garbage (link goes to Yahoo), with some additional state and community college snobbery as well.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/jill-biden-doctorate-garbage-because-212259558.html

Interestingly enough, NR wrote a piece that politely and straightforwardly called her Dr. Biden and touted the benefits of community college in 2009.

You know how I know things are getting back to normal?

We’re having ‘tan suit outrage’ again.

Looks like whomever is in charge of the simulation seems to corrected whatever shit caused the last 4-5 years.

Talk about sleeping at the wheel.

This is maddeningly to me for partly personal reasons. I have a highly intelligent co-worker who's extremely intelligent in many ways. Also a huge freedom screaming Trumpkin. I've heard him says "Masks don't work" and "90% of people who wear masks have gotten it," and I've shut his ass down for quoting Trump directly. It's not fucking hard. Masks don't protect the individuals much at all, but if everyone wears them they protect the collective. Fucking. Simple.

The irony is he's not an anti-science guy. He's basically an engineer and a high level programmer. He's smart, gets business fundamentals. He just has a conspiracy bent. He was all in on the virus ruining us in Feb/Mar until we suspended work at the office and now that we're back he's a no mask wearing freedom honk. It all literally exists outside of his typical behavior and worldview except for one thing; conspiracy.

So this is what we're gonna do, huh....attack the First Lady before she's even in office when she has quite literally done nothing wrong.

I can't recall, did Rachel Maddow or Scarborough call Melania a whore, a gold digger, a bad example for girls, anything that could have been said?

All I remember is Melania wearing "I REALLY DON'T CARE DO U" to visit children ripped from their parents and caged by her husband's team of ghouls before most anyone rightly ripped her a new one.

The right just loves to destroy and never ever build.... doing something uplifting is for suckers I guess

The whole “Don’t bother with masks because some mask wearers still got Covid!” is just so fucking dumb.

No safety precaution in any area of life is 100% effective. It’s about mitigation. These all or nothing fuckers are infuriating. And the fact that they’re still spewing their garbage almost a year into this mess makes my brain explode.
