Tucker: "So what does this all mean exactly?  We're not sure what it means and we're not going to speculate."

Tucker:  Proceeds to speculate.

Do you remember when Fox let Lou go and I said they were doing their usual song and dance and in two days it would be business as usual? Did they even make it 48 hours?

Toxic over-the-airwaves pollution.

The idea that George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose is so fucking outrageously stupid, and so utterly preposterous....

People who die of narcotic overdoses just fall asleep and stop breathing.  They definitely, positively do not writhe, moan and desperately gasp, “I can’t breathe!”

And as fucking ridiculous as that assertion is, it is a thousand times more offensive... what with the fucking video of the cop suffocating him and all.

Fucking lies and treason.  It’s beyond shameful.

What your average Fox News viewer does not realize is that if there was more money to be made pushing a liberal slant, the Murdochs would change things up in a heartbeat, and more than a few of the hosts would start sucking up to Biden if it meant a lot more money.

Ha. These statements allow him to simultaneously be a responsible journalist and toss out red meat to his audience.

How intertwined is Fox News with the rest of the network? I was listening to Cowherd this morning on the radio, and he read a live plug for the Black Rifle Coffee Company followed immediately by an ad for My Pillow. Some weird shit.

i'm sure the exact details aren't hard to find online, but pretty much every fox entity (with the exception of 20th century fox studios which was bought by disney) is owned by newscorp.

this is fox broadcasting (tv), fox news, fox business, fox sports (not sure if they own all their affiliates including local radio) but i'm sure national radio is still in that loop.  i believe all the fox companies are now part of "fox-corp", which is part of/related to newscorp, and not part of what disney purchased.

yeah, i wasn't sure how that was dealt with.

i had a meeting with someone from fox television right after the disney deal, and she was like, "yeah, everything good is gone."  sucks for fox tv.  they're basically paul kinsey the morning after the s3 move.

Didn’t they launch the news network in response to Nixon’s resignation? I’m not so sure about your thesis

JFC, indeed. Smells like a future office run to me.

Smells like their Fox Nation streaming service is not able to stand on its own/make a profit, and so they are having to bring Tucker in to boost it.

The way he says "General" in such a condescending way makes me want to smack him in the freaking mouth! Tucker could never accomplish anything close to becoming a 3 star "general".

The right wing has totally lost its way. I say that both in the sense of being saddened and concerned that things have gotten so far off the rails for so many people, but also in the sense of disbelief at how lame they are.  And frankly, I’m astonished at how prevailing sentiment on this board is that those goofs are somehow going to control this country in the long run.

I know everyone enjoys despairing about the “ledge” as their coping mechanism and/or preferred form of rage porn, but come on.  These people are fucking done.  They have nothing.  This is just pathetic at this point.  They could do some real hit pieces a few years ago even if they couldn’t do anything else, but now they’re reduced to shit like this.  They’re literally just lame trolls.

They’re a cult of personality whose cult leader already got his ass kicked at the polls, and they have no other fall back plan.   Yeah, red states are still red and tons of Republicans are dug in no matter what.   But this - this utter shit - isn’t rallying anyone, and the trends are all against them.  Georgia and Arizona aren’t supposed to be blue states.  Marjorie QAnon, John Wayne Gaetzy, and Tits ‘n Guns aren’t going to take the country by storm.  The country isn’t getting more rural or more Trumpy.

The two political parties eventually reach an equilibrium, but it’s because they adjust when they start losing for too long.  The current Republican strategy is a loser that’s only going to get worse until they course correct.  This is like watching the last season of a once popular sitcom whose writers have all moved on and that has replaced the original stars with Ted McGinley and John Lovitz.

They can’t even do Rush Limbaugh culture war insult comedy right anymore.  “Durr, Biden’s dog isn’t fancy enough!  Listen to Tucker own these stupid generals for not agreeing with the scrawny Yale lawyer guy who looks like Nazi Poindexter!  We’re sure owning the libs now!”

Biden is an old white guy, and that’s sadly enough to make them not really have anything they can draw on to truly fire them up.   They can’t even come up with trolling material, and trolling is all they have.  It’s over.

Well that all sounds great until you look at the reality that they actually increased their turnout in 2020 and also are willing to cheat in every conceivable way to keep power.

Seriously....they are completely and totally, 100% broken....and still winning, and they will continue to control Texas for another generation.

This insane shit works.
