Funny, reading about Amari Daniels, I'd have thought dude was a high four star, 97-98 style recruit. Nope, just a barely composite 4 star that 247 has ranked as an 87. Never change, Perroni.

Expand

Might not be a composite 4* anymore.  He just dropped 63 spots on the new Rivals 250.

Looks like Victory Vaka is no longer in the Rivals 250.  Was previously #202, that's going to be a big drop.  Also, not sure if he was in it before, but I didn't see Eli Stowers unless I missed it.

Almost every OOS commit Jimbo takes is already on a downward trajectory, because they peaked sophomore year and are now being passed by all the regional schools.

Of course, aggy will never figure this out and will cry out about the rankings injustices being perpetrated in them, but that just means lots of good entertainment for us.

But Saban loves him!  So - just watch. the. tape.

(Bama did offer him - whatever that means.  Most of his other major offers appear to be from early 2019.)

If his 40 time is not representative, maybe he's a big-gish back worth considering for them, as an RB2?  Who knows.

Expand

They went toe to toe, traded blows with Bama and took a recruit from their backyard in SEC country. This is gonna cause more sleepless nights for Saban as he has to worry about Jimbo in his own state.

Bold of you to assume I'd willingly talk to those goobers.

I think ktown has a son/nephew or someone who attends A&M.

Is it though? Or is it the most logical assumption that you would associate with people who view our program relatively similarly as yourself?

He was suspiciously quiet when his usual boner talking points of LB and DFW recruiting were blown up in one single commit.

Bowman and Deuce Harmon. Wow. Fucking wow. Listen i don’t even think Deuce Harmon is that fucking good. He’s a take because this class is weak at DB. Bowman is an exception. Jesus their film looks about as alike as Bijan Robinson and Kyle Porter. Both played RB, allegedly. That’s about it.

I mean Bowman is so good, he hardly leaves the field, but obviously there is some secret tape out there that only Looch has watched. So really who is the fool here?

That's the wild part. Guyer is a 6A team and Ryan is a 5A team. So ummm... no. They are not

ETA: the insanity doesn't end at rivals. Their treachery has seeped into 247 and ESPN where BB out grades DH 95 to 90 and 85 to 80, respectively.

Also, I think Deuce is good and hope he's in our class

and edited again... maybe they are in the same district? I guess I dont understand hs football anymore /mindblown

edited after the buzzer ... I think article I'm reading means school district and not football district (which I suppose Looch could have meant). Feeling vindicated and overall pretty good about being on a different wavelength from that of Looch

I guess Terrion Arnold “basically living with Jimbo” for a few years wasn’t enough to sway him to aggy. Sounds like he’s headed to Bama. Scratch him from the aggy lock list.

I’m sure they’ll talk about Kitchens from Miami Northwestern for a bit but I think they will likely fade there and the real battle will be for McMillon from PA. If he gets a commitable regional offer (or if OU actually takes him) aggy is gonna have go deeper into the TriState area for a true Elko NE sleeper.

Jimbo voluntarily choosing to be a third-rate national mercenary school instead of continuing the “Texas kids taking on the SEC” strategy will be message board fodder for decades. I love watching it, but it is truly an unjustifiable decision.

Haha Liucci is always so triggered at the BOMC. He’s still crying about Haynes fucking King? Dude blows.

And CDC straight up put Olin Buchanan on full tilt with his jab (which was true so probably why). All the lulz on that one. 🤣

This reminded me that Liucci doesn't even have Bowman ranked in his top 25 players in Texas rankings. Harmon is #24 in that ranking.

That wasn't sustainable for them either, the SEC narrative was built by Bama with an assist from LSU.  UF helped get it started but that was a decade and several coaches ago, its the Bama show with LSU coming out of the bullpen for the save.  Any player Bama is after who is determined to play SEC isn't settling for aggy.  They will get the guys who think they are Bama good but aren't like Sloneal, and that's bad for team chemistry

With our lost decade, aggy almost certainly would have benefitted had they stayed, they might have won something meaningful like a conference championship or 2.  At least over here they were king of the dorks, over there they are just dorks.
