just the math is mind-bottling.

Our guy the size of Eddie Gaedel is trying to put up Babe Ruth numbers.

Agswin is married. He has insurance buisness off of bellaire. Super nice guy. Has a son finishing up at UT. Broke 2 ribs and cracked 2 in round rock few weeks ago going for a foul ball.
Great game from Cole . Nice to get a W

Wonder how he looks at 1B this season.  If he is halfway decent he could potentially take over at 1B by the end of the season, moving Yuli into a utility role.

Is a 1.350 OPS good?  I have never understood why there wasn't more hype around Alvarez.  He has hit quickly at every level.  I don't care where he ends up on defense.

Anythjng is possible but seems unlikely

Game 1 today was only his 5th start at 1B (in 25 games)

Only 2 games at 1B all of last year

By contrast, Straw has had 12 games at SS so far this year.

They had been splitting him between LF/1B up until he was promoted to Fresno last season.  I've read a few people say he's better at LF but his 1B numbers are a little better in Clay Davenport's defensive metrics.
