What was the call on the reversal on Altuve going to third? Looked like Brantley got HBP. Why wasn’t he awarded first if Altuve had to go back to second? I’m watching a stream with the sound off.

He swung. Strike. Dead ball when it hit him.

Brantley swung.  It's a strike and a dead ball.

He swung and missed
If you suck bad enough to swing and miss at a pitch and still get hit by it, it’s a strike
You don’t go to first base

It was the right call.  He swung.  No HBP if you swing.  And ball is dead once it hits him.

Gong to have to start advancing these lead off runners.

Maybe Springer will suddenly get nearly as hot as he has been cold. If that suddenly happens, and Uncle Mike and Yordan do much at all, we could win this one going away.

JV and Cole have done a great job masking this, but we’re about an inning or two from really really bitching about the offense (lack thereof) this series

Just need a few timely hits.  We will be fine.

This is accurate.

I think the announcers are actually right that the layoff is hurting Greinke.  He can't blow people away like Verlander and Cole.

And if this is right, Greinke should be fine next time out.

Keep Greinke in.  Let’s keep our bullpen intact.  See it Greinke can have a few positive innings.  And see it offense can do something.

Here comes Rondon!  I agree with you and disagree with Hinch
