So not sure how today tops yesterday, but since it is "homer run derby" day my prediction is we will have multiple hitters hit 2+ homers today.

I'll throw out Yordan and Bregman as the guys to do it

I definitely think we should keep Stubbs up and let him learn everything and anything from our two veteran catches.

That’s not happening. No way you waste one of your 3 bench spots on a 3rd catcher. You sometimes see it on a playoff roster only because you don’t carry as many pitchers

I'm watching MLB network and they're talking about the no hitter last night. They had an audio clip from someone - not sure if it was a reporter or someone from another team - but the quote was,  "When the Astros call you about one of your pitchers, you hang up the phone and change your number."

.. a horrible baserunner .. twice in this inning.

I just saw the replay on that. I didn’t think twice about the call, but I swear, the replay looked like he was never tagged.

Explain to us what he did wrong.... twice

Bregman was going on contact. Alvarez should have known and been moving to 3B as soon as Seager charged to field Correa’s dribbler. He didn’t.

Good baserunning isn’t predicated on speed. It’s being aware of the situation and knowing that the guy in front of you is going on contact.

Had been on 3B .. like he should have .. he would have scored on Yulu’s bloop rather than being forced at 3B.

He would've been thrown out at 3rd. He's not that fast and Crawford was covering 3rd.

Yep, it was just bad luck.

They don't seem very motivated today
Reddick is closing in on Tyler White level OPS.

I am ready for Sept so that Tucker takes some of his ABs. Hell I hope Tucker destroys and takes his playoff roster spot.

If he’s moving on contact, I don’t see any way Seager fields the ball, looks to home and first .. which he did .. and still do a 180 to Crawford in time to get Alvarez.
