That was a cool graphic - Springer and Correa have both homered in 6 playoff games, the most by any teammates in mlb history.  Kind of surprising Ruth and Gehrig didn't have more.

They only played World Series games.

Man we really should have started Urquidy tonight and Grienke tomorrow so we have JV to throw at home on Saturday. And cole if needed Sunday.

Idiots.

pitchers against the astros : 3-4ip, 5k, 1-2er allowed.  tough, gutsy, gave the team what they needed, made one bad pitch.

greinke : 4.1ip, 1er, 5k.  yankees had him on the ropes, he escaped and needed bailing out after a miserable outing.

Every thing is about what the Yankees are doing wrong. Not the fact that the Astros are just the better team.

In all fairness the Yankees did a lot of things wrong too.

tanaka has 3 postseason losses.  all to the astros.

He's much worse in the regular season, too. Why anyone thought Tanaka had an advantage over the Astros when they have owned him in all but 1 start.

11 starts against the Astros including the playoffs, 1-4 era hovering around 6.50

A rod is a little bitch.

That was some incredibly stupid shit about guys crunching numbers at 8am, and "9 guys driving to the park not knowing if they're going to play or where they're going to hit, and it's tough to hit like that."

But it was all over when the Astros got an odd-numbered lead.  Or was it an even-numbered lead?   I forget.  It’s all too cerebral for me.

While we hate on Herbie for his shit, he does try his damnedest to not be biased for Ohio State (unless big ten misses the playoffs). A-Rod is full Yankee homer 100% of the time.

You guys need to turn that off and go read something positive about the Astros or go rewatch the game

We’re 1 win away from a pennant and all you can do is dissect and bitch about “analysis” coming from an ex-Yankee?
