Ron Washington couldn't have made a worse decision.

I didn't want to be the one to bring it up, but this meltdown has entered 2011 Rangers territory.

Welcome to Houston sports fandom, youngsters and transplants.  We are the original Choke City.  And now we Took it Back.

Just accept it.  The sun will still rise tomorrow.  Life is still good, it's just a game we watch.  And was damn fun for the last 7 months, absent the last few innings that native Houstonians knew would come.

No snow to shovel off our cars, and great Tex-Mex food anytime you want it.  Could be worse.

This heartbreaker gives me more perspective on that 2017 team. How they were able to beat the Dodgers AND the Houston sports curse that series makes them one of the greatest teams of all time imo

feels like its been the same game over and over. the home team blows the game in the last 3 innings. so weird.

Not exactly the same. The Astros simply haven't played like a championship team. They can play okay with a lead, but completely fall apart when down even by 1. Nats have had a few rallies in this and other games.
