Big fan of these two more recent songs in particular:

It was actually an old Shaggy thread from years ago that first introduced me to El-P.  Went out and bought his Fantastic Damage album shortly thereafter.

All three records have been great, they are good live and do creative videos. Really disappointed Killer Mike did an appearance on NRA TV a week or so ago. But he's entitled to do his thing.

I appreciate them. They are definitely on the "decent MCs" list and there are definitely *still* many better MCs releasing material, even these days, but their tracks are always fire and they generally tend to mean well when they rap. Good dudes, etc.

ironically, el-p speaks directly to bob stoops on the opening line of nobody speak.

They have had a few songs featured in the credits of the Silicon Valley. I hadn't heard of them until i looked up the songs from the show. Definitely a group worth knowing about.

I love their stuff, but what do you mean “mean well”? Blockbuster Night Part 1 comes to mind.

Been a big fan of El-P since Fantastic Damage.  And then became a fan of Killer Mike when I heard the album that El-P produced.  RTJ is awesome and it's been cool to an incredibly talented guy like El-P get the notoriety and widespread appreciation he deserves. El-P has been one of my favorite rappers/beatmakers/producers etc for 15+ years. I love his rapping, but the sounds he makes are just so fucking good.

These guys don't know how to make a bad track. RTJ4 fucking slams. The two early release tracks are catchy af no doubt (oh-la-la-ah-oui-oui!), but out of sight and walking in the snow are rocketing to the top of my list.

So many cool beats in the background of some of the songs. Like the beat from Funky by The D.O.C. on Out of Sight. The synth on Never Look Back sounds like it's from the original Tron movie. Walking In The Snow and Ju$t are pretty damn on the nose right now. A great album from start to finish.

Well that was great

Wow, the moment of silence on Walking in The Snow and the acapella afterward. Very cool and powerful moment.
