yeah they had him and DeAndre Jordan splitting time, with Allen performing better than DAJ. Now that DAJ is a bit banged up Allen has seen his minutes go up, and he's definitely taking advantage. I have a hard time seeing him give up the starting role if he keeps this up.

Felix dropped 30 points and 6 assists for the South Bay Lakers tonight:

Also, Demarcus Holland is moving on up, from BC Nokia in the Finnish league, to Hamburg in Germany's Bundesliga.

JT!

Damn, suddenly feeling sad and nostalgic. Disappointing senior season, and possibly the worst hands of any big to ever wear burnt orange, but for three years, nobody put more heart and soul into his work than JT.

God, I loved those teams.

It wasn't made public, but JT was playing while really hurting his entire senior year. He had really bad hip problems, and had to jog down court with arm at his side so that his hip didn't move around/get displaced. He was a shell of his former self by then.

Thanks for the deets. Glad to know the drop in performance wasn't the result of some off-court distraction or falling out with Barnes.

Those first three years, JT was an absolute warrior. Someone might out-jump or out-quick him, but nobody outworked him. Definitely an all-time favorite, right up there with his more athletic Mini-Me, Damion James. Both were all heart, no hands. LoL

And now I'm sad again.

EDIT: Forgot to note that Bob Knight used to salivate over JT. Couldn't sing his praises loudly enough. Those were the days.

His hands were fly paper compared to Wangmene

LoL!

Damion didn't have the best hands, either, but I'd take another JT or D-James in a heartbeat. We were lucky to have them for their full four years.
