"I relaxed back at camp with some native girls while Jim captured footage of himself wrestling a tiger."

Jim did ALL the heavy lifting on Wild Kingdom. Marlin reminded me of those English Lords on safari you'd see in old Tarzan movies. Never left camp, never got dirty, but took all the glory.

Lol, Marlin gets a bad rap for that but he actually carried his weight too:

Great show, RIP Jim...

That's okay, so was Marlin.

Edit:  BTW, have some rep for the title.  God how my friends and I used to crack up at saying that exact thing more or less!

Loved that show.  5:30 Sunday evening...  then Wonderful World of Disney.

Marlin, JIm, and Mutual of Omaha commercials...

^Yep. Often saw it sitting in front of my grandmother's console TV. Back before the internets, we'd call the 800 number to talk to somebody in Omaha. They may as well have been on the other side of the world. "Are you really in Omaha?"

RIP

Loved it too.  When I was a kid I didn't even know Mutual of Omaha was a company.  Just thought it was the name of the show and they were originally from Omaha.

Company?

Mutual of Omaha is people.

People you can count on when the going’s rough.
