No problem with Woodland winning... just no freakin' jayhawk talk or things will go south for sure.  Just look at the shit happening right now to Gary on #14....

This has probably already been said but the shouting after nearly every shot is beyond regarded.

That’s why Augusta will always be the holy grail of golf

Two ridiculous par saves on the back 9.

All  these chips and bombs dropping is fun, but this looks like a PGA instead of a US Open.

Yeah.  Receptive greens and no wind are leaving Pebble pretty defenseless.

It will take Woodland & Rose falling back to get others back into the mix, but if they don't make crazy part saves it would have happened today.

Or someone will have to make a run at a 63

Hoping for one, or both

I hope Koepka makes a run and wins. Strangest career so far, hardly anything at the normal tour stops and straight butt fucking half the majors. I really hope he keeps it up to where he has 12 or 13 majors and 2 wins on the regular tour.

You have to think you are pretty damn good to even think about going for the green where Koepka was.

It was just a little 274 punch 3 wood (stinger if you're Tiger) that had to stay under a tree limb off the face and clear a green side bunker.

I mean who wouldn't try that shot. I try that shot 10 out of 10 times when I'm playing. Although I am usually at an Austin muny trying to protect my mid 90 score, not at Pebble contending for the US Open.

For the record worst case I would have hit the tree and it would have gone in the ocean. Best case I'm still 50 yards short of the green.

Or you hit the tree, then the ball ricochets back into your head like you're Wile E. Coyote !!I

Besides Joe Buck, the Fox coverage is great. They show lots of shots, the technology is 2nd to none and seem to have fewer commercials. 38 hours of over the air coverage

I'll agree with this.  They just need to get a few more Brits or Aussies to do commentary like CBS.

Both are better than NBC.

Jordan is not right. Horrible bogey there.

Definitely needs a trip to a sports psychologist couch.   Total mental error on 2ft putt.

Another mental error on #5.... You just can't miss to the right on that 6iron into the green.

Hopefully once players that actually have a chance to win start teeing off they will show golf.

Well, they have to put something in there, including filler of a faltering, feckless Tiger in since they don't have much of a choice.  Yawn.

Fox needs to chill the fuck out with all the interviews and human interest stories.

Again, I’m watching the featured holes on the Fox sports app. 7,8,17,18 I think. I’ll change to featured groups when the leaders get on the course, and only go to the fox tv feed as a last resort.

Also the USGA App (free) is available on Roku (and maybe Apple??)  Currently watching feature groups session (like Pato) that shows Tiger and DJ's shots.

I seriously want to hit these guys in the mouth who keep screaming after every shot...

They are despicable humans and should be knifed and tossed into the sea.
