Hey Jack isn't going to Spurs again and please don't sign anyone that was a middling Ligue 1 player or a tall goof from Blackburn.

Are you really, really sure you don’t want to sell Grealish?

Going to the friendly in St Paul.  Should be fun.
Take pictures!

I went with my son against FC Dallas when they were here before. When we were at Villa Park in 2016, we meet a few of the 82 Euro Cup team who had traveled to the States with the club. They loved Texas, and we were treated like visiting royalty.

I thought it was a decent showing vs Minnesota. It wasn't ever A attack and A defense playing together and it wasn't a good opponent so what can you really take from it?

Good:

Jota

Jack

Steer

General Attacking

Bad:

Back line in the 1st half

O'Hare

Konsa

Poor Jack is going to need BP meds before this season is over ... going to stroke out during a match at this pace of frustration at being fouled and no calls given.

Woof.  That level of defending could never hold up against a top-flight Premier League team for long.

Encouraging for the rest of the season, but also some things to correct/build upon (looking at you, Jack).

was teddy a villa fan?  or what's the connection?

No, I'm a Villa fan and that's what my diary will read tomorrow. Have to at least get a point there. I know they fought back hard, but that doesn't cut it in the EPL.

Villa with a 1-nil halftime lead against Everton on a nice little Friday afternoon match.  However, giving up too much possession ... 1 goal won't win it for Villa.

Is the home field narrow or is that a camera angle?
so the fans always celebrate like it’s the Super Bowl?
Camera angle. Villa Park is an amazing venue with a wide pitch and consistently one of the best surfaces in English football.

... And while the Holte End is usually that boisterous, the entire home crowd was just celebrating being back and getting that first home PL victory behind them.

Let them have it. They deserved that moment of joy.

Missed it today, but looks like it was a great one.
It was frustrating for awhile, as Villa dominated possession, but were behind at the half.

The equalizer was deserved, but the (literally) last second winner was thrilling and all about desire.

Pepe had a good game in goal, and we'll be in good hands for awhile.
