I don't know enough about rowing but that seemed like a good coaching job by Dave O'Neill.

Texas is known for their sprints at the end but think that got them in trouble the race before. Fell too far behind. Looks like they came out with a different approach that final race.

If Texas finishes 1st and Stanford 2nd they would be tied at 124.

First Eight is the tiebreaker. So yup, if Texas wins 1st they win the national title.

So final points results ended up tied with Stanford ?

(Damn that's close -- every boat's result was critical...)

Ended the same way last year. First 8 decided the tiebreaker.

Awesome. That’s 3 so far for the 2021-2022 school year and several more have major shots to add on. Now if football could just get its shit together.

Congrats to the emerging rowing dynasty!

Four. Men’s doubles tennis also won.

Women's singles also won, but, yeah team championships is the thing.

Texas will be adding 3 team titles, a 2nd place women’s indoor T&F finish, a top 16 men’s tennis finish, at least a top 8 softball finish, and likely top 3 finishes, if not titles, in M/W outdoor T&F. Add in baseball and we should exceed our current fifth place spot in the Director’s Cup. Don’t know if it’s enough to win again but looks good for another strong finish with the spring sports

Dual meet with Michigan at 7:45a on Saturday morning on Town Lake.  Somebody please remind me where they start and end?  Wanna take the girls.  What's a good viewing spot?  Thanks.

The Longhorns are one of four teams to qualify a boat in each grand final race, along with Princeton, Yale and Stanford, while Washington will have a boat in the I Eight and II Eight grand finals. Additionally, Penn will race I Eight grand final, California will compete in the II Eight grand final, and Brown and Virginia will have boats in the Four grand final.
