For those that missed it, Mr. Nunes "regretted to inform"  the two witnesses he's questioning this afternoon that TV ratings for the impeachment hearings were down, as if the two gentlemen were there to get their 15 minutes:

He's such a perfect trumpkin.  How do these people not see what buffoons they are?

Like I said, just remember the MJ trial

Roughly 1/6 of people just won’t budge regardless of evidence.  Like if an asteroid were headed for earth ala “Armageddon” or “Deep Impact” roughly 15-20% of people would just choose denial.

it’s like that crazy old timer who wouldn’t leave his lodge on Mt. St. Helens in 1980.

The blonde behind Castor is getting a lot of face time on PBS.

Quote

Meghan Green is the blonde woman who is sitting behind House Intelligence Committee Republican counsel Steve Castor during the impeachment inquiry.

According to Green’s LinkedIn page, she is currently the senior counsel, permanent select committee on intelligence at U.S. House of Representatives. Green, 27, has been in the role since March 2019. Previously, Green worked on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, alongside Castor. Between September 2017 and January 2019, Green worked as Counsel on the Subcommittee on Information Technology, Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Green’s first job on the hill was as a law clerk for the oversight committee, according to her LinkedIn page.

What's happening there over Morrison's left shoulder?  I see about half an eye and a lot of blond hair.

Are you talking about the senior counsel, permanent select committee on intelligence at U.S. House of Representatives, who is 27 years old?

also, Morrison’s counsel just slapped down Castor, LOL

Kept the CSPAN feed on and Meadows just answered a question "off the record" while the camera was on him, lol.

Basically said it's no big deal that Ukraine still hasn't gotten all of the aid yet, and that happens all of the time.  Framed it to the woman who asked the question as "just trying to help you as a journalist."

Homegirl got her law license in 2017, how in the fuck does she qualify as "senior counsel" with less than three years of experience practicing law as a barred attorney? Perhaps that is a clue as to why the GOP questioning is so poor lol. She also lists "microsoft office" as a skill on her linkedin profile, which is some undergrad shit lmao.

She, likely, has a certain set of skills.

Y’all are being sexist ding dongs, FYI.

Don't disagree and didn't mean to imply a special set of "skills" that earned her that role. Merely noting that anybody in any field with fewer than three years of professional experience are usually "associate" and not "senior"

Yeah, but the reason someone 3 years out could be "senior" in this case is likely that no qualified attorneys would really want to be litigating this case for the Gym Jordan/Nunes circus.   I can't imagine many good, qualified, senior litigators think that doing the GOP questioning here would actually be good for their career.
