Is Brian Sipe forgettable?

Frank Minnifield?

Those Browns teams were purdy good for never getting to the SB.

Speaking of pretty good teams that never won anything, Terry Metcalf with the Cardinals was one of the few kick returners of the same caliber as his son Eric.

And it took a Don Coryell to manage not to win a Super Bowl with Jim Hart throwing to Metcalf.

Frank Minnifield and Hanford Dixon (sp?) were the best CB combo in the NFL for at least 5 years....

Milt Sunde. Never saw him play (as far as I remember), but I liked his name.

I went to a Vikings charity basketball game in Aberdeen, SD in the early 70s. Milt played...horribly.

Paul Krause was there, too. He had his thigh wrapped in tape with a big swastika drawn on it with a marker. Even as a kid, it seemed odd to me, but I’ll assume that was some kind of an inside “joke” with his teammates.

Shon Mitchell was one of my favorite players as a kid. My dad and brother and I called him Shaky Shon because he'd do a little shoulder shimmy whenever he'd celebrate a good run

I have no idea why a cool nickname like that didn’t catch on.

As a youth I loved Randy White, #54 for the Cowboys! He was one mean SOB on defense for the Boys back then.

In high school, I wore #54 because of him. Even though I was a center on offense.

Knowing he was a Terp, I don’t like him a “pinch” as much, because of the last two years!

Walt Garrison, “The Skoal” Man got me into dipping as a teen, just a pinch b/t your cheek and gum!

An NFL and college football HOF-er is ‘forgotten’?

I was never a Rams fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I used to love watching Jack Youngblood play. One of those guys who always seemed to have blood on his uniform. His, someone else's, chicken blood... who knew for sure?

For you youngsters, Johnny "Lam" Jones from Lampassas, later of NY Jets

Johnny "Ham" Jones of Hamlin.

A.J. "Jam" Jones (Jam rhymed) later of the Rams.  Never heard him being called "Ram" Jones though.
