Once again, somebody’s first instinct when witnessing or coming up on a bad accident is grabbing their phone and taking pictures.

In all honesty, it’s what everyone at home wants them to do.  First we get video or pics, and second we get to shake our fists at their inhumanity.

Shocked that driver didn't get beat to death still strapped in his seat belt. First thought was road rage, but hopefully it was just a shitty accident.

My wild ass assumption is he fell asleep or was texting. Those hotshot drivers are a shady group. I used to be one and I was shady af.

rode motorcycles my whole life up until my oldest son was born.  pretty good chance I'll never ride again because of dumbfucks like this who can't watch the fucking road.

So, what happened here? Pickup truck veered into the opposite lane and hit a bunch of motorcycles head-on?

If you’ve ever had someone do that to you, you’re paralyzed how to respond in the moment.  Do you veer into their correct lane?  Hope they notice?  Drive yourself off the road?

Wow.  That’s some unexpected accountability/responsibility.   That wouldn’t happen in Texas, that sounds like something you hear about from Japan.

St. Clair said the section of U.S. 2 where the collision occurred does not have rumble strips, which warn drivers that they are veering onto the highway's shoulder.

"There are now some reasonable questions about having them," St. Clair said. "Maybe if they were there, some lives could have been saved."

I guess I missed something. How would rumble strips have helped in this particular case?
