One of the greatest moments of my life happened at my local growing up Pizza Hut. The year was probably 1994ish. I had graduated from the every-Saturday lunch at Pizza Hut with Mom and sis in between stops at K-Mart and Sears ritual. And I was now firmly in the lunch buffet with every single fucking person in your high school ritual. A younger than me white teen type came in with his family, and he was at the jukebox. I didn't pay it much mind. Livin on a Prayer came on. I didn't pay it much mind. Kid started grooving to Livin on a Prayer, I started to pay a little more attention. We hit the "We'll give it a shot!!" crescendo and my guy gave a fist pump that would make Tiger blush. Pure Awesome.

I'm confused on what the hell you're describing. One of the greatest moments of your life was a random trip to Pizza Hut in 1994 when some random white kid walked in with his family and played the most overplayed Bon Jovi song on the juke box and fist pumped?

On Pizza Hut I by chance happen to live close to the best run/best managed Pizza Hut I've ever seen. I don't know who runs it but it's legitimately good. It's the only fast food type chain place I've ever seen with Google reviews in the 4.5 range. Every other Pizza Hut in our general area is in the low to mid 3s.

The kids love the thin crust pepperoni with extra sauce and I can't complain. $10 carry out special

At that one moment, all the confusion about his sexuality suddenly lifted.

I may ease into it.  But that shit looks good like it once did.

I'd really like to see PH turn it around.  I'm not expecting 80s/90s goodness.  But if they could go the Domino's route of reasonably good u-turn, that'd be good.

Damn, I’d forgotten about the Big New Yorker. That was the shit 20 years ago.

PH will always have a place in my heart since it was the first place to serve me beer when I was 16. The waitress put one of those frozen mugs in front of me so I helped myself to the pitcher of Bud Light. Stole the mug to remember the occasion.

Coming to a Pizza Hut near you: Tomato Wine.

Pizza Hut Is Selling a 'Tomato Wine' — and It's Meant to Taste Just Like Pizza
It's made from "ripe, juicy tomatoes and infused with natural basil."

Pizza Hut is hoping to make your holiday entertaining even easier by offering an all-in-one takeout solution — including the chance to pick up a bottle of its new Tomato Wine.

Yes: Tomato. Wine.

The tomato wine, Pizza Hut explained in a statement to Food & Wine, "captures the essence of your favorite slice in every sip." And the chain also announced it's bringing back its beloved Triple Treat Box, meaning you can bring both pizza and wine to your next party all in one go.

"The holidays are a time for many gatherings, but often, the gift of a bottle of wine can feel expected. Why not be the one to bring the pizza party with the gift of pizza wine and a Triple Treat Box designed to ignite fun and conversation," Elyse Slaton, Pizza Hut's director of advertising, shared. "As a brand that has pioneered many firsts in the industry, we took a beloved, classic pairing of pizza and red wine and flipped it on its head as we aim to spark intrigue and create a more memorable holiday pizza party."

OK, we know you need way more details about the wine. According to Pizza Hut, it's made from "ripe, juicy tomatoes and infused with natural basil," made in partnership with Irvine's Just Beyond Paradise Winery, a family-owned vineyard in Kansas. The wine, the chain added, "offers an aromatic blend of fresh herbs and spices with rich, sun-ripened tomato notes and a subtle hint of toasted oak — reminiscent of a perfectly baked pizza crust." Pizza Hut added that the wine tastes similar to a white wine (they didn't get specific on what kind of white wine) and is best enjoyed chilled.

The wine is offered as part of a limited-edition gift set, which includes a bottle, two Pizza Hut branded wine glasses, and a wine opener, which, again, it notes, pairs "perfectly with Pizza Hut's festive Triple Treat Box." As for that Triple Treat Box, it includes two medium one-topping pizzas, breadsticks or cheese sticks (note: the cheese sticks come with an upcharge), and a choice of dessert.

The Tomato Wine by Pizza Hut retails for $25; however, a minimum purchase of two bottles is required, and the limited-edition gift set sells for $60. Both are available starting today, but only at irvinewinery.com/pizzahut. The Triple Treat Box is available at participating Pizza Hut restaurants nationwide, starting at $19.99.

Pizza Hut was always my favorite pizza as a kid and it still is. All those Friday nights eating it as a kid watching TGIF was good memories. My mom worked at the one in Lampasas before I was born.

My brother loved Mr Gatti’s. Good, but never supplanted Pizza Hit for me. Gatti’s ranch dressing was/is great.

This.   I do go on occasion to the new,  chefy pizza places with brick ovens and curated ingredients, but can't go for too long without Pizza Hut.  There is a taste that just takes me back to those Friday nights with my family.   I miss those nights a lot.

The pepperoni cups are pure bliss

Marco’s was the first chain pizza I had that used that cup pepperoni. They make some really, really good pizza.

I can recall as a kid when Tony’s frozen pizza used that kind of pepperoni. Never had a better frozen pizza than that, by far.

I tried a case in Burnet County a coupla years ago.  One night, needing to work in my hotel room, I ordered a Pizza Hut thin crust sausage pepperoni and mushroom.

That remains one of my all-time favorite pizza.  I even at a slice cold for breakfast the next day.

Every pizza ordered becomes breakfast the next morning. I don’t think anything beats a cold slice of pizza on a Saturday morning

Go to a small town and they are:

I would enjoy an old timey sit down Pizza Hut. I grew up with them back when they only had thin crust pizza, there was no delivery, and takeout wasn’t in a box but in a pyramid shaped paper bag.  It was great.
